Product Data

Features Installation

The 3M™ 969 Film Sorter from Imation™ is installed by an Imation service professional to the top of the XP535 Film Processor and is used with the 969 HQ Laser Imager. Installation is efficient, since no additional site preparation is needed. The sorter operates using the XP535 Film Processor's dryer transport drive system and power supply, eliminating the need for a dedicated outlet.

Sort film into eight trays

The cumbersome and often time-consuming task of sorting film is eliminated, thanks to the Imation™ 969 Film Sorter's control software. This technology allows the sorter to accept film in random input order from up to 16 users and deliver each sheet of film to its output location, preassigned at installation.

Increase department productivity

Your department becomes more productive and efficient when the 969 Film Sorter becomes a part of your complete laser imaging package. The sorter frees individuals from film sorting duties, giving your staff the chance to apply their talents in more useful areas.

Reduce misplaced films

Each of the sorter's trays is preassigned to a specific user or modality, helping eliminate the problem of lost or misplaced films and the need for costly retakes.

Compatible with all 3M™ Laser Imaging Film from Imation™ sizes

Every Imation™ Laser Imaging Film size -- 8" X 10", 11" X 14", and 14" X 17" -- is compatible with the 969 Film Sorter, further streamlining your film distribution procedures.

Easy film access

The 969 Film Sorter is designed so your film always will be easily accessible. Regardless of which film size you're using, the sheet of film you need should be in its designated tray, right at your fingertips.

High-capacity trays

The 969 Film Sorter is equipped with high-capacity film trays. The top seven trays hold up to 50 sheets of film. The bottom tray holds 125 sheets and serves as a non-sorting location should the sorter require service.

Convenient write-on, self-adhesive labels

Trays are assigned to specific users with convenient blank, write-on or generic-worded self-adhesive labels. A label application surface for each tray is provided.
